IT's Time for our 3rd GD Tango STUDENT SHOW CASE!!!

PERFORM AT THE HISTORICAL COLONY THEATRE

ABOUT THE SHOWCASE

Join GD Tango's Student Showcase! Learn Argentine Tango Choreography from the pros. After 7 weeks of training, perform at the historic Colony Theatre in Burbank, CA on MAY 11th at 3:00 PM!! We encourage you to sign up with a partner, but we do have a limited number of professional partners available for an additional fee. For students who study privately, we have a limited number of solos available with GD Tango and other professional partners. 

PRICING AND HOW TO JOIN

Registration Fee $250

This fee is for every student that participates in the show (solo or group). It includes the theatre amenities, custom lighting design for your number, and a professional video of the performance. 


Group Choreography Team Fee: $250

This includes 7 training sessions and choreography by GD Tango. 


To Sign up, click below and send us your name, dance experience, and your routine of interest. Once you have paid the Registration Fee, and the Team fee (for those in groups), then your spot will be reserved.

BOLEADORAS TEAM 11AM - 12PM


Song : LIVE DRUMS


Description: Learn the percussion of Argentine Folk Dancing! No experience necessary. This will be a group boleadoras number (with one ball) to live drumming aimed to improve your coordination and musicality.  




MILONGA TEAM 12PM-1PM


Song Title : "Orillera" 


Description:  Always fun and upbeat (Orillera), the milonga team will focus on milonga specific steps, and highlighting each couple.  



TANGO TEAM 1PM-2PM


Song Title : "Quejas de Bandoneon"



Description:  A Classic tango song (Quejas De Bandoneon) that will highlight each individual couples' strengths. 



Thursdays 3/28 - 5/2

thursday CHOREOGRAPHY TEAM at the event center of moorpark

VALS TEAM 6:30 PM- 7:30 PM START DATE: 10/12

Song Title : "Bajo Un Cielo Azul"  




Description:  Description: Learn the elegance and musicality of the most romantic genre of tango, the Vals!  




Must be available for Dress Rehearsal 5/4  at Hollywood Academy of Dance (11AM-2PM)
